One of the most interesting aspects of WomanStats interdisciplinary research is the creation of world maps that represent the various dimensions of the situation of women worldwide. As noted in the research section of this website, we have developed several indices of women's status, which then may be mapped using GIS and other techniques of political geography. On our map page, you will find numerous colorful mappings of our scales, such as Physical Security of Women and Inequity in Family Law.
We have recently started an infographic series as well. Topics such as Women's Property Rights and Afghan Girls' Graduation Rates may be viewed.
Feel free to use any maps or infographics we have produced, as long as you credit The WomanStats Project.
